Zoe Beauty School atau ZBS berdiri sejak 2018 yang lalu, hampir 5 tahun turut berpartisipasi dalam pemberdayaan perempuan di dunia kecantikan. Berawal dari keinginan untuk memberdayakan kaum perempuan dari seorang warnita Hertauli R. Harianja yang sebelumnya merupakan pekerja/aktivis kemanusian pasca sunami Aceh 2004. Perwujutan keinginan tersebut dituangkan dalam satu lembaga pelatihan yang diberi nama ZOE yang ada dan berkembang sampai saat ini.
Pemilihan nama ZOE sendiri lebih didasari terhadap makna dari kata tersebut. Menurut beberapa refrensi arti ZOE adalah hidup atau kehidupan dengan karakteristik berpikir logis, rela berkorban, perhatian, penuh semangat dan beradaptasi. Hal inilah yang diadopsi oleh ZBS dalam setiap program dan proses belajar-mengagajar.
Untuk menunjang proses belajar mengajar, ZBS memiliki lokasi bejar dikota Medan yang startegis dan mudah dijangkau. Berada disekitaran kampus USU - Padang Bulan memudahkan murid belajar dari luar kota untuk memperoleh penginapan selama belajar yang sesuai budget dan dekat dengan tempat belajar.
